Collection includes photographs and corresponding negatives documenting the demolition of the Ohio State Penitentiary in Columbus, Ohio from 1997-1998. Different stages of the demolition process and the equipment used are shown. Views of the Columbus skyline and downtown buildings, such as the LeVeque Tower, can be seen in many photographs. There are also photographs of news interviews about the demolition and of the salvage yard where many of the decorative pieces of stone were kept. A brief history of the Ohio Penitentiary accompanies the collection.
